Auld Lang Syne,
Isles of Scotland .
" We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet, for auld lang syne.Remote, rustic and occasionally peaceful. Visit the paths of auld and give a respectful nod to those long departed.FĂ ilte gu Alba ♥ "
Auld Lang Syne, built, created and designed by Eloise Blake is a remote, tranquil, rustic little Scottish based isle, to which i found very beautiful. Each and every detail carefully and thoughtfully placed to give that perfect touch. |
Growing up with a Scottish father had a huge benifit for me and that was being able to spend my summer in Scotland and getting to view the scene and the true beauty that is Scotland.
When i first saw this sim advertised on facebook i decided to go and take a look, Boy am i glad i did. From the minute i touched base i automatically fell in love, it may sound stupid to some of you but it gave me back the most fantastic childhood memories i got to share with my family growing up.
Be sure to look around slow and take it all in, there is many a secret hideaway with nocks and cranny's to be discovered. The Ruins that share the isle with the most gorgeous wildlife are among the breath takingly stunning view to this Sim. But don't just take my word for it, go visit it yourself and start to make some of your very own memories there with your friends and family of SL.
Whilst on your travels you will come across a beautiful stoned lighthouse, inside said lighthouse you will be able to Join the group "Highland Hills" for the price of 10L which will give you rezzing right should you wish to take a picture whilst on your little adventure of the isle. Also you will be able to click a link for their Facebook and Flickr Page.
Please remember that the Region is rated "General" so be mindful before getting any naughty idea's !
A little text taken from Elo's Flickr, a short description on Auld Lang Syne :-
"This has been my biggest SL challenge so far, but I think the best I've ever done. For a long time I wanted to add some magic to the region, some of the amazing fantasy creations that creators bring to life for us to all admire.
Auld Lang Syne is now an eclectic mix of old and new, fantasy, romance and those little quirks that I just love. A personal thank you to Bambi for listening to my nervous breakdowns, the painful texturing and photos like this one. Oh and also for their very adorable creations".
Blogging landscapes, Sims and such is not my line of work usually but with it touching me deeply and enjoying my experience here i really wanted to share it and Support the continued hard work of Elo's.
So i have added a few little pieces to help you along with your journey to Auld Lang Syne, Isles of Scottland.
Thank you for taking the time to view and read the Blog, Thank you to Elo for creating such a beautiful vision in Second Life and i do hope you all enjoy it and make it your own ♥
